Meet me in the centre
Meet Me in the Centre is a choreographic tour of the Suzanne Dellal Centre guided by a character inspired by Jackie Kennedy.
On Valentine’s Day, 1962, Jackie Kennedy invited the world, via camera lens, on a tour of the White House. At that very moment she redefined the image of a woman, delicate yet fierce, stylish yet modest, famous yet deeply mysterious. Nearly sixty years later, Ori Lenkinski channels Jackie Kennedy to host a select group of audience members on a stroll through the picturesque courtyards of the Suzanne Dellal Centre, the most iconic Israeli dance center which, like her, is rich with history, secrets and gushing with life. Weaving together text and movement, Jackie will share rarely told stories the centre and about herself.
The audience members (up to 20 individuals) receive headphones through which they hear Jackie’s voice as well as a soundtrack composed of songs relevant to the location.
